Over 100 Primary School Students Replicate Solutions
Change truly can come from people of all ages! This past April over 100 students and staff from St. Anthony’s Primary School in Uganda traveled to the Sheraton Kampala hotel to attend the recent Sawa World Day in search of practical skills to enhance their education and lives. The students had a great time at the event and learned many new practical skills. Since attending in April the students have already successfully replicated 5 different solutions!
New skills were not all that students took with them from the event; according to teachers at the school, students’ have been more interested in practical activities and the students have become more driven and motivated to improve their lives since attending Sawa World Day. Encouragingly, students have now also become teachers by promoting and teaching the Solutions they learned at Sawa Word Day to their parents, siblings and friends!
The story of these students is another fantastic example of how Sawa World is changing lives through education and self-empowerment.
