Exciting Update!
Our Country Director, Sheila Ampumuza, will speak at an upcoming LinkedIn webinar organized by the Lavazza Group titled "This is (not) a girls' job: how women shape the coffee industry."
The webinar will take place on Friday 8th March (International Women’s Day) from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM (EAT).
This event will celebrate the unwavering spirit of women leaders in the coffee industry by sharing their powerful experiences, challenges, and insights gained along the way.
For the past five years, the Lavazza Foundation (a part of the Lavazza Group) has collaborated with Sawa World on the #UjanaCoffeeProject. The project aims at diversifying and increasing the income of smallholder coffee farmers in Central Uganda, resulting in increased coffee production and motivating them to stay in the agricultural sector for the long term.
Visit https://www.linkedin.com/events/thisis-not-agirls-job-howwomens7168997739370897408/theater/ to join the webinar.
Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate International Women's Day with people who are shaping the future of the coffee industry!
