100 youth with disabilities with craft training to participate in the craft labour market
Eder plans to provide craft training workshops to youth with disabilities in Jacmel to allow them to participate in the labour market. Eder will focus on training the youth on how to make necklaces and floral art. The funds will allow Eder to obtain the materials, instructors, and transportation needed to complete the project. Obtaining a skill such as this provides individuals with disabilities with an extreme amount of empowerment and the ability to inspire others in their communities. It will also provide them with a source of income to support their families and improve their living conditions. Following natural disasters, people with disabilities are amongst the most vulnerable. It is essential that they are provided with these kinds of income-generating opportunities.
