Sawa World Solution Centre is aiming high, fully intent on becoming a leading innovation centre that will change the lives of 50,000 youth this year in communities near and wide. An exhaustive 2015 search for a new home led to the present attractive brick and tile structure. Rooms were freshly painted in Sawa World colours, new furniture was trucked in and assembled, gardens were cultivated and sturdy new fences built, all creating a welcoming one-stop hub.

In the last few months, dozens of visitors have arrived, including 20 students from Insight Global Education, who were schooled in techniques for making eco-friendly stoves and colourful earrings. A Sparks Learning session brought together innovators to make candles and share ideas. And a neighbourhood open house drew over 50 youth who were introduced to different Sawa World solutions.

Rachael Nalebe marvels at the incredible strides the new Sawa World Solution Centre has made since opening. “The past six months has been an exciting journey for Sawa World as an organization,” the Impacts Coordinator says proudly.
